Surveys and Polling
As part of the economic evaluation and planning studies, William-Lynn-James designs and administers surveys of businesses, visitors, and residents. Typical retail-oriented assignments include studies of shopper, employee, and tourist expenditures, travel patterns, and perceptions about locations.
Typical economic development assignments include studies of business conditions, future growth expectations, and perceptions about government. Survey techniques used cover the full range of accepted methods, including personal interviews, telephone surveys, sidewalk and building intercepts, mail-back surveys, focus-group discussions, voter polls, and issue polls.
